Transmission Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Optical & Microwave transmission project design, implementation and troubleshooting independently or together with support;
• Provide technical support on transmission equipment and do preventive maintenance.
• Bidding support or holding technical workshops.

Position Requirements

• Understand WDM/MSTP/SDH/Microwave theory, master the basic knowledge of optical fiber, OSNR, dispersion, PMD and optical transmission; 100G/40G Long-haul transmission
• Familiar with and able to strictly follow the ITR process;
• Familiar with the bidding process and can complete the DTRB independently;
• Be proficient in customer-facing solution communication and guidance and manage customer satisfaction.

Professional Knowledge Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree qualification or above majoring in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Engineering or other related technical disciplines.
• Understand WDM/SDH theory, master the basic knowledge of optical fiber, OSNR, dispersion, PMD and optical transmission;
• Understand the basic principles of Ethernet, master VLAN, MPLS, Layer 2/3 switch and networking solutions;
• Passionate, motivated and committed.
• Customer service-oriented.
