Position: Information Technology Staff

Job responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests from employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, either remotely or on-site.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the organization's IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of IT systems and processes.

Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information systems or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Tier 1 IT support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Servers, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP routing and switching, VPN technologies, Firewall, Routers and Switches, O365 Apps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with team members and end-users.
