Job title: Machine Shop Supervisor

Location: Ulaanbaatar Mongolia

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the machine shop team has a clear understanding of their job responsibilities through effective supervision, leadership, conducting regular team position descriptions, performance reviews, and providing appropriate feedback.
• Ensures objectives, targets, and standards are communicated.
• Reports any situation which has an adverse effect on the departments profitability.
• Supervises the daily activities of the machining team ensuring all repairs are completed to the applicable OEM published procedures, applicable time, quality, and cost parameters.
• Establishes a work environment that promotes and encourages employee success.
• Ensures all company policy, systems, and industry-related training is delivered to all direct reports as
  needed.
• Provides effective tracking of Work in Progress for workshop activities.
• Ensures proper documentation, including invoicing and timesheet management.
• Ensure documentation is accurately processed and distributed to internal and external departments as required promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above degree in mechanical engineering, or any related field or a combination of related education and experience
• Knowledge of Heavy Equipment and Components (5+ Years experience as Senior Machinery & Metallurgical industry)
• Good leadership skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn new systems and processes.
• Knowledge of engineering drafting and illustration.
• Knowledge of accuracy & measurements
• Ability and experience in, CNC machines, Lathe & milling machines.
