Job title: Water Supply & Sewerage Engineer

Role Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to perform the engineering functions related to water supply, water treatment, plumbing, and equivalent systems. This includes experience in water supply, sewerage, and fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and suppression systems, in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

Contract Length: Until the end of 2025

Job responsibilities:
- Role-model the HSE values and practices
- Participate in the planning of projects to optimize HSE results
- Support the implementation of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality standards for the areas under operates responsibility
- Ensures safe operates practices, systems, & processes are established & comply with Mongolian & HSEQ policies/standards, JHAs, & safe work procedures
- Compliance with Local and International Codes and Standards thorough understanding of local and international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, NFPA) and the ability to ensure designs comply with these regulations
- Perform engineering functions related to water supply, water treatment, plumbing, and equivalent systems. This includes experience in water supply, sewerage, and fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and suppression systems
- Review and update existing piping and fire protection systems to improve efficiency or comply with new regulations
- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment, including technical, studies and site investigations
- Understands the role of engineering and recognizes the impacts the engineering process has with regards to projects, operations and the broader company
- Provides specific engineering training (equipment testing, specific instrument tools, interpreting the test results ) to the stakeholders and junior engineers
- Manage ESP Engagements & Performance: Manage and evaluate engineering service providers for individual scopes, including adherence to contracts and performance benchmarks
- Facilitate communication and coordination between the core team and external entities in engineering service matters

Job requirements:
- Engineer above a bachelor's degree in water supply, sewerage system or equivalent
- Design engineer of the water supply, sewerage system
- Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in water supply, water treatment, plumbing and equivalent
- Experience in water supply , sewerage, fire protection system, including sprinklers, hydrants, and suppression systems calculation, design work, and proven experience in piping design, preferably in the mining or industrial sector for check the design
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication and documentation.
