Job title: Reporting Accountant

Company: International Mining Equipment Supplier

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Duties:

• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
• Prepare consolidated and separate financial statements in compliance with IFRS
• Handle group reporting, management reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure accurate accounting, tax, and transfer pricing treatments
• Support internal and external audits and liaise with auditors
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Identify system improvements and support financial process enhancements
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Requirements and skills:

• Relevant tertiary qualification and ACCA/CPA qualification at bachelors in accounting/ finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Strong conceptual understanding of IFRS guidance
• Able to demonstrate comprehensive accounting knowledge and fully understand enterprise accounting structures;
• Knowledge of Group reporting and consolidation
• Ability to identify abnormalities and perform variance analysis
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines;
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, demonstrating an ability to identify and react to emerging issues;
• Reporting and presenting data in a variety of formats, and methodical and diligent, with outstanding planning abilities.
• Good written and oral communication skills, both Mongolian and English;
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
• Experience with fully integrated ERP and accounting systems;
• Hands-on, self-sufficient, and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude;
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
