Job Title: Surveyor Project Quantity

Role purpose:

To assist in the forecasting and monitoring of costs as part of the project cost control and procedures. Its including estimates and build claims.

Contract Length: 1 year

Job responsibilities:

- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Job requirements:

- Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
- At least 3 year relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
- Deliver work to plan, track task progress and resolve issues that block task completion, escalating where appropriate.
- Capture and analyse business data to make timely decisions to deliver on business objectives.
-Deploy available resources, considering their most effective and efficient use to achieve team priorities.
- Take direct action for improving productivity for all tasks performed in line with standard work practices.
- For supervisors, the primary focus would be daily to weekly performance.
