About the job Rubber Liner

Duties:

  • Report absenteeism to workshop supervisor
  • Ensure WMA/WMM policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure pre start checks are conducted.
  • Seek approval from Workshop supervisor for any known problem and/or variations to scope of work prior to proceeding.
  • Lead the maintenance of  and repair the products in accordance with
  • the procedures detailed in the service centre quality manual, or the
  • relevant maintenance manual.
  • Co-ordinating field service work.
  • Show flexibility under urgent or breakdown conditions in order to
  • service customer requirements including occasional weekend and
  • public holiday overtime
  • Ensure that the products produced and operations processes used
  • comply with WMA/WMM Australia procedures and the necessary
  • industry and customer quality standards.
  • Ensure orders are checked for accuracy and integrity before
  • dispatching to customers
  • Try to find out new service business, and report on market
  • intelligence.
  • Ensure point of start risk assessments are being conducted.
  • Safe observations are being reported
  • Hazards and near misses are being reported
  • Drive safety through leadership and promotion of a safety culture
  • in the Service Centre, supporting the safety representative,
  • ensuring safety policies and systems are followed including JSAs
  • and/or risk assessments are completed for every job.

Requirements:

  • Rubber lining experience
  • Current drivers licence
  • Sound mathematical and problem solving skills
  • A positive attitude to safety
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to convert and adapt for other related jobs
  • Ability to problem solve, act with initiative, prioritize work and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to liaise with all levels within the company and external providers.
  • Refined listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative in the role.
  • Desire for continuous improvement.
