TRAINING SPECIALIST
The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning and development programs that support workforce capability and organizational performance within the company. The role conducts training needs assessments, develops competency-based learning initiatives, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external institutions to deliver high-quality training programs. It also plays a key role in strengthening employee skills, supporting technical and leadership development, and ensuring that training initiatives align with corporate standards and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's training strategy, policies, and annual training plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify competency development requirements across departments.
- Design and develop training programs, including leadership development, professional development, and technical skills training.
- Propose improvements to training effectiveness, learning tools, and development programs.
- Work closely with local education institutions to support workforce development and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Partner with external training institutions and consultants to develop specialized training programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and analyze training outcomes to improve learning impact.
- Support employee career development and competency framework implementation.
- Provide guidance to management on training priorities and workforce development strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources,Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent development, preferably in the mining, energy, or industrial sector.
- Experience in training needs assessment, program development, and competency-based training frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing leadership, technical, and professional development programs.
- Strong understanding of training evaluation methods and learning effectiveness measurement.
- Experience working with external training providers, universities, or vocational institutions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Strong time management and planning abilities.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
Position
- Based in Ulaanbaatar
- 5*2 days work schedule, (4 days at office, 1-day remote work)
