Job Purpose

The Legal Specialist supports the company's legal, compliance, and risk management functions by ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures. This role contributes to strengthening the company's overall compliance framework, internal controls, and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and draft contracts, official letters, and other legal documents.
  2. Provide legal support and advice to internal stakeholders.
  3. Review and draft company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  4. Manage legal documentation and maintain accurate records.
  5. Support the implementation of the company's risk management framework.
  6. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's compliance program.
  7. Conduct legal and compliance training and awareness sessions.
  8. Provide legal translation and support communication in both Mongolian and English.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or Business Administration.
  • A Master's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or Business Administration is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant work experience in legal, compliance, or risk management functions.
  • Previous experience in the wholesale, automotive distribution, or a related industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of business law, corporate governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mongolian and English.
  • Above-average English proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements

  • Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and risk management processes.
  • Knowledge of the automotive distribution industry and its regulatory environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
