Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Job Purpose:

To effectively coordinate and organize the accounting function to support the organization's overall business objectives. This includes implementing accounting policies and procedures, providing timely and accurate financial information to management, identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and regulatory requirements, improving internal controls, preparing all financial records and internal reports accurately and timely according to relevant accounting standards and legal requirements, and sharing professional knowledge with the accounting department team.

• Daily bookkeeping
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Control & Compliance
• Accounting Operations
• External Audits and Inspections
• Team contribution
• Other ad hoc tasks given by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in financial statement preparation.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with Mongolian tax laws and regulations (CIT, VAT, PIT).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience using financial software.
• Strong punctuality and job ownership
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Mongolian.
• Ability to work in an international, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
• Adaptability to rapid changes and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Additional Requirements
• MCPA, ACCA/CPA, or MCPTA is with advantage
• Experience in the wholesale of the automobile industry
