We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a world-class cleanroom, be part of the development of our own laboratory and a possibility to grow with us within the field of Quantum Computing.

About SCALINQ

SCALINQ is a prominent player in the growing field of quantum computing. Our core focus is the development of state-of-the-art cryogenic hardware. Today, we encompass an expanding product portfolio of complete qubit device packaging solutions (LINQER), a series of high-density low-pass and infra-red blocking filters (CliQ), as well as high-density cabling solutions (BriQ) with a lot more to come soon.

All our products are classified as enabling hardware and are vital for the overall performance of the quantum computer. In our research, we are already developing the next-generation hardware. Key Responsibilities will include

  • Fabricating superconducting microwave devices

  • Engage in hands-on fabrication and ensure the quality and reliability of our quantum solutions.

  • Developing and validating advanced fabrication recipes: Innovate and optimize processes to enhance the performance and yield of our devices.

  • Coordinating with the design team: Work closely with designers to integrate fabrication feedback and improve overall system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields plus at least two years of professional experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of cleanroom experience in micro- and nanofabrication, including lithography, deposition, etching, characterization, and metrology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization: Experience in cleanroom fabrication and surface characterization.
