Our client, a well-established multinational D2C e-commerce company operating in the USA, is looking for a highly organized and professional Business Analyst  to join their dynamic e-commerce company for a full-time remote job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect data, analyze it, document processes, and maintain and update reports.
  • Study current processes in the department/company, identify processes and issues that need improvement, and propose enhancements. Implement the improvement process.
  • Create reports necessary for improving inventory management, marketing activities, and pricing, as well as optimizing logistics and inventory costs.
  • Analyze and forecast sales, and predict demand for new directions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for the purchasing department in the company.
  • Prepare presentations using graphs and charts.

Skills:

Analytical thinking - working with large databases, which requires collecting, analyzing, classifying, diagnosing problems, and proposing solutions.

Attention to detail.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets.

Experience in retail e-commerce (Amazon, Shopify) is an advantage.

Communication skills.

Organizational skills - a strategic approach to task execution, proper prioritization, and time management.

English language proficiency at B2 level.

Tasks:

Study the business processes of the purchasing department.

Create a report to help optimize inventory for the fourth quarter. The calculation will use monthly sales and inventory data for 2023, and analyze the delivery period to Amazon in the fourth quarter.

Work on creating a new inventory management system in the purchasing department based on the current report, breaking it down into different files according to business logic and operational efficiency, considering the needs of company employees.

Analyze the production time of goods and their readiness (early or delayed production) to correctly determine the "safety stock/target level" and reorder point.

Regularly analyze the delivery times of goods from the supplier to the prep center, and from the prep center to the Amazon warehouse.

Analyze costs (advertising, marketing, logistics, additional costs (Amazon fees) per unit of product) to determine the minimum profit and/or minimum number of units that need to be sold for this operational activity to be profitable for the company.
