Our client, a well-established multinational D2C e-commerce company operating in the USA selling high-quality pet products, is looking for an experienced professional to fill an immediate opening for a Marketplace Specialist for a full-time remote job.
You will be responsible for managing our product sales through our website (Shopify) and different platforms and marketplaces, creating compelling product listings, optimized for SEO, and driving sales through ranking algorithms.
Our ideal candidate will be implementing tactics that continually expand the company's market share, enhance visibility, and drive measurable, high-converting direct-to-consumer sales through Shopify store, Wallmart.com, Chewy.com and any/all additional marketplace expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize product listings on Walmart, Shopify, and Chewy platforms.

  • Spend approximately 30% of your time on Walmart and Shopify tasks.

  • Expand our presence on other platforms, where our products are not being sold yet.

  • Oversee promotions, merchandising, maintenance and performance.

  • Analyze marketplace trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Monitor sales and metrics to meet company KPIs.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace algorithms and ranking factors.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure marketplace success.

  • Analyze data to drive insights

  • Coordinate with internal teams for inventory planning and management.

  • Work closely with customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Walmart and Shopify platforms.

  • Basic knowledge of marketplace algorithms and product listing optimizations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience in at least one of the following platforms: Etsy, eBay, or other similar marketplaces.

  • Advanced English

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working with distribution chains and wholesalers.

  • While experience with Amazon is appreciated, it will not be considered as a standalone qualification for this role.
