Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Specialist located in Amman, Jordan. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The role also involves developing and implementing HR policies, conducting training sessions, and supporting the overall HR strategy to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Develop and post job advertisements
    • Screen and interview candidates
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations
    • Ensure smooth onboarding processes
  • Performance Management:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems
    • Provide support and training to managers on performance management processes
    • Monitor and evaluate employee performance
  • Employee Relations:

    • Address employee queries and concerns
    • Foster a positive work environment
    • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback
  • Compliance and Policy Management:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
    • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs
    • Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • HR Strategy Support:

    • Contribute to the development of HR strategies and initiatives
    • Support organizational development and change management efforts
    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and systems

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HR software and G-Suite/MS Office
  • Solid understanding of HR principles and employment laws
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
  • Experience of 4-6 years in human resources is preferred
