Role : Cyber Security Engineer

You will be working as Cyber Security Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Project Manager and will be responsible for identifying, proposing and implementing innovative technology, software or solutions by contributing with own ideas. Working independently as a member of an R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Developing cyber security requirements and design for M&As (Measurement & Analytics) cloud, web, mobile and software (desktop) applications
• Identifying, presenting, applying & improving industry best practices for cyber security
• Providing support to other functional teams to propagate cyber security practices being applied, discussing various cyber security standards and practices with customers, specifically with respect to manufacturing environment along with IT environment and advising on how to support the customers cyber security strategy
• Driving awareness in the team on cyber security risks, requirements and compliance, tracking and reporting compliance to ABB cyber security standards in development
• Updating and familiarizing with the latest exploits and security trends

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science/ software engineering/equivalent
• Minimum 8 -12 years of experience in Cyber Security, VAPT, Cloud security
• Experience with information security concepts and design principles, web application, mobile application security and should have good knowledge with secure development lifecycle
• Security practices like patch management, vulnerability handling, threat modelling and system hardening
• Experience with diagnostics and monitoring tools, vulnerability assessment, test tools and Threat modeling
• Understanding on digital certificates and PKI infrastructure, microsoft azure security concepts on ADFS, IoT Hub, security center
• Understanding on best practices and weaknesses in cyber security like OWASP, CWE, CVE
• Experience with scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl etc.)
