JOB SCOPE
Role : Content Writer
- You get to write for a wide range of purposes across multiple industries.
- You'll hone your skills at adapting writing to fit a brands identity, brief, tone, and manner.
- You'll work in a team of creative logicians with a passion for their craft and be inspired to grow.
Responsibilities
- You'll familiarise yourself with a brands product, target audience, and competitors activities in the market.
- You'll craft original web copy and content according to the clients brief.
- You'll brainstorm creative communication strategies, ideas, and overall messaging for web content and branding.
- You'll present your initial ideas to the creative director before developing them into actionable concepts.
- You'll prepare content and copy for various social media platforms.
- You'll edit or rewrite existing copy and content as necessary for ongoing digital projects.
- You'll do the relevant research to stay up to date with new advertising trends, techniques, and what is going on in the digital industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Required: At minimum, a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelors degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or relevant degree or certification
- Required: Native or near-native command of English and one or both of these languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
- Preferred: 1 year of working experience in a related field.
- Ability to write in a wide range of tone and manner that fits the clients brand and industry.
- Able to collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers.
- Able to prioritise multiple projects while strictly meeting deadlines.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent self-editing skills for spelling, grammar, and syntax.
