Job Title: Officer Purchase

About the Company:

A leading chemical manufacturing company known for its advanced chlorination process technology and commitment to global sourcing excellence.

Scope of the Role:
As Officer Purchase, you will play a key role in vendor development, procurement planning, and materials management with a strong focus on engineering goods and chemical plant requirements. You will be responsible for raising RFQs, handling import purchases, managing contracts, and ensuring timely material delivery aligned with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop vendors and manage procurement for mechanical and chemical plant materials

• Handle end-to-end purchasing: RFQs, quotations, approvals, negotiations, purchase orders

• Ensure timely material planning, including import coordination

• Vendor visits for inspection and delivery follow-ups

• Expertise in mechanical items like heat exchangers, boilers, pumps, compressors, etc.

• Manage job work orders, AMC, rate contracts, consumables, and spares

• Generate monthly procurement reports to drive process improvement

Qualifications:

• B.E. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

• Post Graduate Diploma in Material Management

• 5-10 years of relevant experience (23 years in a chemical/chlorination plant preferred)
