You will be working as Sales Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based out at Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager. You will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining business area/division/product group effective sales strategy in specified market scope of global/regional/local to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Setting, planning and ensuring execution of business area/division/product group sales strategy within the assigned scope of global/regional/local, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Achieving growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Coming up with new ideas to increase the sales target YOY basis
  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands the customer base and ensuring its strong presence. Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Presenting sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Reinforcing and maintaining a culture of health & safety in all sales & customer development initiatives
  • Travel - 25% (Domestic or International)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors engineering in Electronics or Electrical
  • Minimum experience 15 years in sales role in AVR/SES business
  • Should be good in presentation & negotiation. Required strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Experience in sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Having excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Preferred industries - Power or Any Excitation
