Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Golf Operations

Department: Golf Operations

Reports To: General Manager of Golf Operations

Location: Savan Resorts, Savannakhet, Laos

Summary:

The Administrative Assistant - Golf Operations provides essential support to the General Manager of Golf Operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations of the golf course. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities in both English and Chinese, and a strong understanding of golf course operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
  • Manage the General Manager's calendar, schedule meetings, and appointments.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
    • Assist with the coordination of tee times, tournaments, and other golf-related events.
    • Communicate effectively with golfers, staff, and vendors.
    • Help with membership inquiries and processing.
    • Provide general administrative support to the golf operations team.
      • Serve as a translator and interpreter for English and Chinese communications.
      • Assist with translating documents and marketing materials.
      • Facilitate communication between English and Chinese speaking staff and guests.
        • Assist with special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
        • Perform any other duties as required to support the Golf Operations department.

        Qualifications:

        • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
        • Experience: Previous administrative experience in a golf course or hospitality setting is a plus.
        • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
        • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
        • Other Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
