Location: Savan Resorts, Savannakhet, Laos

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead and manage the technology infrastructure and services for Savan Resorts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT leadership, a deep understanding of hospitality technology systems, and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. Thai language proficiency is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of Savan Resorts.

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the resort's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software.

  • Cybersecurity: Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data, implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect against threats.

  • Systems Implementation: Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of new technology solutions to enhance guest experiences, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal service delivery.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional development and growth.

  • Technical Support: Oversee the provision of technical support to staff and guests, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues.

  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant IT regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) is required. Proficiency in Thai is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, hotel property management systems (PMS), and other relevant technologies.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, foster collaboration, and drive results.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
