Summary:

Savan Resorts seeks a dynamic and experienced CEO to lead our luxury resort operations in Laos. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence of the resort.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with the company's vision and values.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the regional and international markets.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Oversee the financial performance of the resort, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
    • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and investment plans.
    • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
      • Direct all aspects of resort operations, including guest services, sales and marketing, food and beverage, facilities management, and human resources.
      • Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and service across all departments.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and business partners.
        • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of professionals.
        • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and empowers employees.
        • Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.

        Qualifications:

        • Experience:
        • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale operations.
        • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
        • Previous experience of successfully managing large-scale projects, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector.
          • Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is required.
          • Knowledge of Thai language is a plus, but not essential.
            • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
            • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
              • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
              • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
              • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
              • Results-oriented with a passion for excellence.
              • Culturally sensitive and adaptable.
