About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Marketing Manager – Product to lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies across a diverse product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketer who thrives on bringing products to market, driving demand generation, enabling sales teams, and building compelling product positioning.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and external partners to develop innovative campaigns that increase product awareness, customer engagement, and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Define target markets, customer segments, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
- Translate complex product offerings into compelling customer messaging and positioning.
- Develop customer-centric campaigns that drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
- Ensure consistency of product messaging across all marketing channels.
Campaign & Content Management
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Collaborate with creative agencies and internal stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing collateral.
- Develop engaging product content including brochures, presentations, newsletters, videos, case studies, and digital assets.
- Support new product launches with effective marketing plans and communications.
Market Research & Product Insights
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activity.
- Gather customer insights to support product positioning and future product development.
- Assist with customer segmentation and vertical marketing initiatives.
Sales Enablement
- Partner closely with Sales teams to provide the tools, collateral, and training required to effectively position products.
- Develop sales presentations, product guides, competitive comparisons, and other enablement resources.
- Support customer presentations, events, and product demonstrations where required.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors and strategic partners.
- Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, product launches, and co-branded campaigns.
- Coordinate the development of partner marketing collateral and promotional activities.
Budget & Reporting
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure expenditure aligns with strategic objectives.
- Track campaign performance and measure ROI using key marketing metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance data.
Stakeholder Management
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and marketing partners.
- Foster collaboration across departments to achieve shared business goals.
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop members of the marketing team.
- Set performance objectives and provide regular feedback and mentoring.
- Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Support talent development and succession planning within the team.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 8–10 years' experience in Product Marketing, Brand Management, or a similar strategic marketing role.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies.
- Demonstrated success in product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Advantageous
- Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management.
- Experience within franchise or channel marketing environments.
- Experience working with both global and local brands.
- Media content development experience.
