Pre-Sales Specialist (Gauteng Region)
A vacancy exists at (Pty) Limited for a Pre-Sales Specialist based in Woodmead, reporting to the Head of Product and Pre-Sales- ICT.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The role will require the successful candidate to be the technical bridge between the franchise sales team, prospects, and customers showcasing how our client's Enterprise Content Management solutions solve real business problems, meet compliance requirements, and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems. The role will combine solution design, technical consultancy, and sales enablement, ensuring customers understand both the business and technical value of the offerings. The role will be responsible in assisting franchises to build a sustainable business model on this area of business.

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or solution architecture role within the ECM, document management, or enterprise software sector.
Proven experience with leading ECM platforms (e.g., DocuWare, OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, M-Files, Laserfiche).
Strong understanding of document workflows, compliance frameworks (POPIA, GDPR), and digital transformation trends.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in clear business terms.

PREFERRED
Knowledge of BPM (Business Process Management), RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and system integration.
Experience with cloud-based ECM solutions and API integrations.
Pre-sales certifications or ECM vendor certifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and customer relationships
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Build multi-month pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that comprises of new customer acquisition as well existing customer base penetration (cross sell)
Maintain and manage existing relationships with customers.
Maintain and manage existing relationships with franchises.
Prepare professional presentations, customer demonstrations and proposals, clearly highlighting needs, the proposed solution, and the costs involved, return on investment and the technology features and benefits.

Product Knowledge
Maintain product knowledge on software solutions and service stacks.
Maintain annual certifications on vendor requirements
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to drive sales staffs training via eLearn and face to face training interventions

Strategic Planning
Craft franchise specific budget achievement plans with franchise holders and franchise sales managers annually, measured quarterly.
Develop customer acquisition plans for new customers agreed with franchises
Ensure all allocated franchises are using Enterprise Content Management solutions in their business processes
