Role Overview:
As the Digital Account Executive, you will lead regional sales efforts for Clients Digital's key customers, collaborating with internal teams to create and implement innovative digital strategies and solutions. This role is perfect for a seasoned marketer ready to drive client strategy and tactical planning across both digital and traditional marketing channels.
Requirement:
- 5-10 years of experience in digital marketing, whether in an agency or brand setting.
- Digital marketing qualifications are an advantage.
- Creative brand expertise.
- Superior communication skills for both internal and client interactions.
- Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Identify and qualify high-potential client opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and drive revenue through new and existing clients.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored digital solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Work with internal teams to craft and execute effective digital strategies. Present and pitch to clients, aiming to exceed sales targets and budgets.
- Revenue Generation: Secure new business, convert occasional clients into long-term contracts, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Market Understanding: Stay informed about market trends and client needs to provide strategic insights and innovative solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and executives to align on client strategies and share knowledge to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Key Performance Areas:
- Drive regional key account sales and develop strategic sales plans.
- Conduct client presentations and pitches with confidence.
- Contribute to weekly sales meetings and reporting.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets and budget goals.
- Prepare and present monthly plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Manage client contracts and maximize value extraction from client relationships.
Responsibilities Include:
- Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities within the client base.
- Convert occasional business into long-term contracts.
- Collaborate with account teams to develop creative and strategic digital solutions.
- Present compelling ideas and strategies, leveraging data to drive improvements.
- Secure meetings with high-level decision-makers and influencers.
- Engage in consultative selling to understand and address client needs.
- Travel as needed for industry conferences and client meetings across South Africa.
