Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ethical Hacker to join our cybersecurity team and focus on detecting and mitigating fraud. In this role, you will use advanced hacking techniques and security tools to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop strategies to prevent fraudulent activities within our systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization against cyber threats and financial crimes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fraud Detection and Prevention: Utilize advanced ethical hacking techniques to identify, analyze, and address potential fraud risks and vulnerabilities within our digital infrastructure.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to simulate real-world attack scenarios, focusing on identifying weaknesses that could be exploited for fraudulent activities.
- Incident Response: Lead investigations into security incidents related to fraud, collaborating with other teams to analyze breaches and develop effective responses.
- Security Assessments: Perform regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures and recommend improvements.
- Risk Analysis: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with fraud, including the creation of secure coding practices and system configurations.
- Tool Development: Create and enhance security tools and scripts to automate fraud detection processes and improve overall system security.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on findings, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions, presenting these to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals, IT staff, and departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to fraud prevention and detection.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and support to staff on best practices for fraud prevention and awareness of potential threats.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, or cybersecurity, with a focus on fraud detection and prevention.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap), programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security threats related to fraud.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in detecting and addressing security issues.
- Ethical Standards: Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
