Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies and will play a key role in identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and implementing solutions to drive organizational success. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Lead complex business analysis initiatives, including the identification, documentation, and management of business requirements and processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions to optimize performance and drive operational excellence.
  • Solution Design: Develop detailed business requirements documents and functional specifications, and work with technical teams to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Support project management activities by providing business analysis expertise, tracking project progress, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to assess business performance, generate insights, and inform decision-making.
  • Communication: Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate findings, gather feedback, and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, sharing best practices and supporting their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and initiatives.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
    • Experience with requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
    • Understanding of software development life cycles and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven leadership abilities and experience in mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
