Job Summary:

The Surveillance Officer is responsible for monitoring CCTV footage across all store locations during nighttime hours to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and to maintain security and integrity. This role requires vigilance in observing and reporting any irregularities, potential breaches, or deviations from established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CCTV Monitoring: Continuously observe live and recorded CCTV footage from all locations during designated nighttime hours, ensuring that all activities align with company policies and procedures.
  • Compliance Verification: Verify that all staff members adhere to the standard operating procedures, including safety regulations, operational guidelines, and specific protocols relevant to each store.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or procedural deviations to management. Document and escalate incidents according to established reporting protocols.
  • Surveillance System Maintenance: Regularly check the functionality of CCTV equipment and alert the technical team to any malfunctions or issues that could impact surveillance quality.
  • Data Management: Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of recorded footage. Manage all footage securely in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with store managers and security personnel to address issues identified during surveillance. Participate in meetings or briefings to discuss findings or improvements in security procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of surveillance activities, incidents observed, and actions taken. Prepare and submit regular reports on surveillance activities and incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a security or surveillance role is preferred. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance practices is a plus.
