Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12)

  • Certifications:

    • A+ and N+ Essential

    • Additional certifications in PABX, Yeastar, or 3CX Highly advantageous

  • Experience:

    • 5 years in a technical field support or installation technician role

    • Hands-on experience with a range of hardware and software products

  • Drivers License: Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site installation and configuration of various systems and technologies

  • Working independently or with a team to deliver high-quality installations

  • Client-facing interaction during installation and support processes

  • Documentation and reporting of installation timelines and project scope

  • Adhering to health & safety and technical compliance standards

Technical Skills & Product Knowledge (Must Have):

Voice & Communication Systems:

  • PABX systems

  • Yeastar

  • 3CX

Certifications in any of the above will be a strong advantage

Surveillance & Access Control:

  • CCTV systems

  • Biometric systems

  • General surveillance technologies

  • Hikvision systems Advantageous

Industry Background:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience at companies such as:

  • Daisy

  • BCX

  • Itec
    Or similar ICT solution integrators or telecommunications providers

Installation Portfolio Required:

Applicants must provide evidence of prior installation work, including:

  • Photos of completed installations

  • Project timelines Duration and scope of each project

  • Team details Size of team involved, their roles, and the candidates personal responsibilities

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
