Marketing Manager – Brand Communications & CSI

Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Manager – Brand, Communications & CSI is responsible for developing and executing the organisation's brand strategy, driving integrated marketing communications, managing corporate communications, overseeing Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives, and ensuring consistent brand positioning across all internal and external channels.
This role requires a strategic marketing professional with strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities, who can successfully manage multiple marketing initiatives while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management
- Develop and implement the overall brand strategy.
- Drive brand awareness and strengthen brand positioning across all business channels.
- Translate the brand proposition into compelling customer-focused messaging.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent brand representation.
- Prepare regular reports on brand performance and campaign effectiveness.
Communications Management
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies.
- Manage company newsletters, communication platforms, and corporate messaging.
- Coordinate communication activities with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Ensure all communications align with the overall brand strategy.
Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate conferences, customer events, launches, and promotional activities.
- Manage suppliers and vendors to ensure successful event delivery.
- Support customer engagement initiatives and brand activations.
Digital Marketing & Public Relations
- Oversee company website content and brand messaging.
- Manage social media platforms, including LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Coordinate public relations activities and media communications.
- Work closely with agencies and internal teams to ensure consistent digital brand presence.
Corporate Social Investment (CSI)
- Develop and manage Corporate Social Investment initiatives.
- Drive awareness and engagement for CSI programmes through marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives and community engagement activities.
- Measure and report on CSI programme effectiveness.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and agencies.
- Manage creative agencies and marketing service providers.
- Collaborate with strategic partners on joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure supplier performance meets agreed service levels and quality standards.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effective delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Produce monthly reports on marketing performance, budgets, and campaign effectiveness.
- Assist with forecasting and planning marketing activities.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development planning.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake additional duties and strategic projects as required by executive management.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in brand management, marketing, or communications.
- Proven experience developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies.
- Experience managing agency relationships and marketing budgets.
- Strong understanding of brand management principles.
- Experience managing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
Advantageous
- Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management.
- Experience within B2B marketing environments.
- Franchise or multi-site marketing experience.
- Experience managing both local and international brands.
