Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Designer to create visually compelling, technically accurate digital assets that meet client and brand requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and adapting high-quality digital artwork while ensuring accuracy, brand consistency and adherence to deadlines, processes and established workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Design & Artwork Production

• Create and adapt digital artwork according to creative briefs, brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Produce visually appealing, accurate and high-quality artwork within required deadlines.
• Apply retailer templates, layouts and brand Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines correctly.
• Action artwork amendments and approvals through the required workflow systems.
• Ensure artwork meets the required client, brand and retailer standards.

Quality Control

• Conduct thorough quality checks across artwork, copy, pricing and layouts.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the design and production process.
• Identify and correct artwork or layout issues before final delivery.

Workflow & Project Delivery

• Follow established production processes, workflows and file management procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
• Maintain accurate time logging and artwork archiving.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

Design Knowledge

• Keep up to date with digital design trends, tools and industry best practices.
• Apply creative thinking and technical design knowledge to produce effective solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Design.
• 3–5 years' retail layout and design experience.
• Proven experience working as a Digital Designer, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency in Mac OSX.
