Job Summary and Qualifications
Directs and manages the operations and activities of the nursing unit. Maintains responsibility for the overall management of the department's daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established in conjunction with upper management. Maintains responsibility for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements. Maintains responsibility for providing high-quality patient care by acting as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees. Maintains responsibility for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
The Director assumes the role of a leader in planning, directing, and managing the department and staff to ensure quality service on a 24-hour basis. He/she is responsible for meeting JCAHO Standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment of the unit, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and for appropriate resource management.
What qualifications you will need:
- BSN required
- BLS, ACLS required
- Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse

3+ yrs progressive leadership in relevant unit, director level exp preferred
Salary: $100k - $145k
