Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Radiologic Technologist, you would provide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. Prior to each exam, you would prepare the patient for the radiological procedure through proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- You will maintain the production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- You will review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient.
- Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.
License/ Certification:
- REQUIRED: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology/ARRT
- REQUIRED: State license (VA) must be in process by submission (could take 8-10 weeks)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- American Society of Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Experience: WILL ACCEPT NEW GRADS!!

Level II Trauma Center
On-Call pay = Base Pay + ($2-$3 on-call pay)
Shift times: Days/ Evening / Nights 8 -10hr shifts 40 hour week Will work Every other weekend or/ one weekend a month - flexible on shifts they can offer
On call
Salary: $22.61 (new grad) $25 (5-7 yr) $28.49 (8yr) +
SIGN ON: 15K (2 year commitment)
Relo: Yes up to 2,500 (2-year commitment)
Shift Diffs: Evening $2.50, Nights $3 11p- 7a, Weekends $1
