About the job Histology Supervisor
*Shifts: This position will train on the day shift, but will move to nights starting at 11 PM EST*
Position Summary:
You Will:
- Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas. Functional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to technical discipline areas in which the department is licensed, specimen collection, specimen processing, and specimen referral testing
- Responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities in areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrates skill required to supervise, teach and motivate staff
- Review and approve payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests
Qualifications:
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required
- 5 years experience as a Medical Technologist* ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
- State Supervisor License in Histology or the ability to obtain

Salary Range: $32.23- $40.30 (6+ years of experience) - $48.36 (10+ years of experience)
