Job Description:
As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems and generators. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of service and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and generators.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with HVAC systems and generators.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance and repair services, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Assist in training new technicians and developing team capabilities.
- Provide leadership and support during emergency repair situations.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience or generator rental repair experience.
- Proven leadership experience in an HVAC or related field.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- EPA Certification (preferred but not required).
