Role Description

Saunders Staffing Agency is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Professional Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, site management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure project success and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and verify that work aligns with approved designs.
• Design & Planning: Prepare detailed engineering designs and plans in accordance with client needs and industry standards.
• Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal safety and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Process Improvement: Provide expert recommendations to improve project efficiency and overall effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Licensure: Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
• Design Expertise: Strong skills in preparing detailed designs and plans.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety and regulatory standards within the engineering and construction sectors.
• Communication: Excellent coordination and interpersonal communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience: Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly preferred.
