Job Description
Overview
As a key account manager responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with a companies most important clients. your primary focus is on maintaining and growing existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers promptly.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and handle complaints to maintain trust.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing clients.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Additional Qualification
- A deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, including knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and industry trends.
- Strong negotiation abilities are crucial for handling complex deals, pricing discussions, and contract terms.

Academic Qualification
- BSc/BA in business administration, Sales or relevant field.
Years of experience
3 + years of Proven experience as a key account manager, in sales and providing solutions.
