Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Samana for Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our patients and for ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior

• Provide pre- and post-operative care and instruct patients on post-treatment home care needs

• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention

• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment

• Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain current nursing knowledge

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an Hospital 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and infection control principles

• Ability to handle physically demanding workloads and to remain calm in emergency situations
