Ophthalmologist Consultant

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity, refraction, tonometry, ophthalmoscopy, and other diagnostic tests

Diagnose and treat ocular diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders

Prescribe and monitor medications, including corrective lenses

Perform ophthalmic surgery, such as cataract removal and laser treatments

Educate patients on the importance of eye health

Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments

Remain up-to-date on the latest developments in ophthalmology

Requirements:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification in ophthalmology

Current state medical license

At least 5 years of experience in ophthalmology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
