• Oversee and manage the mechanical aspects of engineering projects, from conception through to completion.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Perform mechanical design calculations, system sizing, and analysis for various systems such as HVAC, piping, pumps, and mechanical equipment.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for mechanical systems and propose cost effective solutions.
• Review vendor and contractor proposals for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Manage procurement and delivery of mechanical components, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply.
• Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and quality to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control and compliance with specifications.
• Provide technical support to the construction team during installation, commissioning, and start-up of mechanical systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot mechanical system issues and resolve technical challenges during the design and construction phases.
• Prepare project documentation and present regular status reports to clients, management, and stakeholders
