Job Title: Remote Underwriter

Hourly Pay: $30 - $35/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Review and assess applications for loans, insurance, and other financial products
• Analyze financial documents, credit reports, and other data to evaluate risk
• Determine the eligibility of applicants based on company policies and guidelines
• Approve or deny applications based on thorough risk assessment and underwriting standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications

• Provide recommendations and justifications for underwriting decisions

• Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions and documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Underwriter in finance, insurance, or related fields

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines, regulations, and risk assessment techniques

• Proficiency in using underwriting software and tools

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a remote environment
• Must have reliable internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace
