Job Title: Counselor

Hourly Pay: $25 - $40/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients’ emotional and mental health needs

• Assess clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during difficult situations
• Offer guidance and practical tools to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges

• Help clients improve their coping mechanisms and life skills

• Maintain confidential records of client sessions and progress

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, medical providers, or family members when appropriate
• Stay up-to-date with the latest counseling techniques, methodologies, and ethical guidelines
• Advocate for clients’ well-being and work to create a supportive environment for mental health improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field

• Active license as a Counselor, Therapist, or Mental Health Professional (depending on local regulations)
• Previous counseling experience, particularly in a clinical, educational, or healthcare setting

• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and support clients’ progress
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and interventions for mental health
