Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Support for Digital Marketing, Advertising, and E-Commerce to provide real-time assistance to students via Zoom during office hours. This role is essential in ensuring students receive the support they need to overcome technical challenges while building and managing their online stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host office hours via Zoom from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 AM - 7 PM EST, where students can drop in and receive support.
- Assist students with Shopify setup and configuration, including:
o General store settings (store name, address, etc.)
o Domain purchasing and troubleshooting
o Policy creation and activation
o Shipping profile setup and troubleshooting
o Payment gateway configuration and troubleshooting
o Product creation and integration (e.g., DSers integration)
o Collections, tags, and discounts setup and troubleshooting
o Website theme uploads, customizations, and navigation setup.
- Provide guidance on app integration and troubleshooting, including:
o Facebook/Instagram setup, pixel troubleshooting, and ad account assistance.
o DSers setup and integration.
o Shopify Collabs for partnerships and levels setup.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Shopify, Facebook ads, and other integrations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing clear, concise, and actionable solutions to our students' problems.
Required Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Shopify (including settings, themes, navigation, and app integrations).
- Strong knowledge of Facebook pixel setup, troubleshooting, and ad account management.
- Familiarity with tools like DSers and Shopify Collabs for product and partnership management.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in Zoom sessions.
- Patience and empathy to assist individuals of varying technical skill levels.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a technical support assistant or similar role in eCommerce.
- Woman candidate as our community consists of solely women entrepreneurs.
- Knowledge of the eCommerce program and community is a plus.
