Position Overview:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will be responsible for delivering high-impact financial analysis and strategic insights to drive decision-making at the executive level. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced in Excel modeling, and capable of synthesizing complex data into compelling narratives through well-structured presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Support the CEO in financial decision-making and strategy development.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and create robust financial models to support business goals.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare high-quality board decks and investor presentations.
- Synthesize financial data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
M&A Support:
- Conduct due diligence and provide financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate potential opportunities and risks.
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
- Drive the optimization of internal financial processes and tools.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.
- Present financial insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and advanced Excel modeling skills.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in financial modeling and data synthesis.
- Experience creating high-quality board and investor presentations.
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong storytelling ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with US business environment
