Based in Dallas, the Junior Litigation Paralegal position presents an opportunity to assist attorneys with a diverse range of tasks and projects. This role directly reports to the Paralegal Services Manager, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform various day-to-day case management tasks.
  • Draft and prepare Court filings.
  • Assist with calendaring case deadlines.
  • Assist with document collection, organization, review, and productions.
  • Assist with discovery requests.
  • Assist with deposition, meeting, or interview preparations.
  • Assist with trial and arbitration preparations.
  • Ability to travel and attend trial and arbitrations.
  • Cite-check references and/or caselaw in briefs.
  • Prepare exhibits to court filings.
  • Proofread court briefs and discovery documents.
  • Prepare various charts and indices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task, balancing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and able to handle efficiently handle multiple projects and client matters simultaneously.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical and reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with members across multiple offices.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $55-62k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
