We are looking to expand our team by adding a talented and driven Senior Business Systems Analyst (hybrid) to lead the business process mapping for an end-of-life finance ERP system. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and documenting existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating the transition to new systems. This role requires deep knowledge of finance ERP systems and exceptional analytical skills to ensure that all business requirements are accurately mapped and addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of current finance ERP system to fully understand and document existing business processes.
Identify inefficiencies and gaps in current processes and recommend improvements or enhancements.
Work closely with IT and finance teams to ensure that all business requirements are understood and considered in the transition plan.
Develop comprehensive process maps and documentation that serve as blueprints for transitioning to new ERP systems.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to help stakeholders understand the process changes and implications of the new system.
Collaborate with ERP developers and implementers to ensure that the new system meets business needs and is aligned with industry best practices.
Manage communication between project stakeholders and serve as a bridge between technical teams and business users.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a strong focus on finance ERP systems.
Extensive experience in business process analysis, documentation, and management.
Proficient in process mapping tools and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects.
Experience in guiding teams through significant system changes or upgrades.
Location: This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with approximately 3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles County and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
