Location: Bridgend (onsite 5 days per week)

Salary: Dependant on experience

The role

We are looking to bolster our client's platform team who specialise in increasing sales through online platforms, notably the Amazon Marketplace. Our client is a well-established company and is the undisputed leader in a high-growth sector in the sports industry. Our client has two of the industry's leading brands and they are regularly viewed by millions of fans via Sky Sports. Sporting a very successful online marketplace this is a great opportunity for someone to learn the ropes and build themselves a career in e-commerce retail marketing sales.

What does that entail?

  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, SEO/SEM, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic and increase conversions.
  • Learn to use Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central to build easy-to-read, easy-to-access online content.
  • Managing and updating the e-commerce platforms, monitoring market trends, and analysing customer behaviours to drive online sales.
  • Assist with overseeing marketing campaigns on Amazon (and other platforms), ensure optimal platform performance, and continually strive to improve the customer experience.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to maintain a positive brand image and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports on the performance of the e-commerce platform, including key metrics, sales trends, customer behaviour, and campaign effectiveness.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Experience managing Amazon Paid Advertising Campaigns for a brand, retailer or agency.
  • Ability to manage and drive the strategic performance of Amazon paid advertising accounts.
  • Excellent grasp of Amazon advertising tools, services, techniques and metrics.
  • Data-led with a strong commercial ability and focus.
  • Great at building long-lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A desire to learn, mastering your area of expertise.
  • Applicants from a traditional Paid Advertising background will be considered; however, they must be able to show progress towards retraining to an Amazon skill set.
