Sadler Recruitment is working in a new partnership with an adventure holidays platform. Our client builds software platforms for hundreds of tour operators around the world.

The development team is currently 4 with senior management keen to apply strategic thinking, digital technology and user-centred approaches to build quality platforms. They have extremely relatable and intelligent leaders (they provide tech leadership/assurance and are tech people!). They offer a safe environment for engineers with no micromanagement, offering trust and accountability. The new Software Engineer will get a chance to work on several projects with different skills demand/capabilities.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and implementing object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts within our Microsoft stack application infrastructure (C# .Net, SQL Server).

As a growing business, the successful candidate will liaise with all aspects of the business to understand and deliver on a wide variety of software requirements. The role is based in Cardiff with the flexibility for some remote work.

Experience needed

• Detailed software development experience
• Computer science and software development skills
• Back-End web development expertise
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.net.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Agile, CD approaches and industry good practices such as CI, TDD, and BDD etc.
• Working knowledge of clean code approaches such as refactoring, clean code.
• Working knowledge and a desire to learn.
