Job Title: Lead Developer

Office Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience and match to post)

As a Lead Developer, you will take on a critical role in balancing hands-on engineering with team leadership. Your mission will be to drive software projects that align with the business goals, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions. You will mentor an already capable team and support engineers, fostering a team culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software strategy and architecture
- Mentor and develop team members
- Ownership of the full software development lifecycle

- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving
Experience
- Years in software engineering with at least 1 year in a Principal or team lead role.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams.
- Typescript / Javascript development experience with a strong foundation in system architecture, design patterns, and scalable solutions.
- Strong web application and restful API skills.
- Strong database skills.
- Good AWS knowledge.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirables

Remuneration Package
- Permanent contract
- Up to £95,000 per annum
