Role: Software Product Manager

Possible base locations: South Wales, Swindon, Germany

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum

What Youll Do

As the Lead Product Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding product development for our client's software platform that delivers on the needs of the IC design industry and streamlines IP creation. Your primary focus will be on product development and cross-functional collaboration.

The Product Manager must be based in an office (as above) at least two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the product requirements process to help build software that will optimise IP creation and IC design.
  • Working with customers to build custom-fit IC requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers to resolve technical challenges and manage product iterations.
  • Organizing Scrum kick-offs and attending daily stand-ups to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Developing process maps, project briefs, and specs that address the needs of both software and IC design teams.
  • Monitoring competitor products and strategies to keep our unique product suite ahead of industry trends.
  • Managing and grooming the product backlog for optimal sprint planning and execution.

About You

You're a seasoned product manager with a passion for software development and thrive in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.

Experience Needed

  • Proven experience in tech product management.
  • Experience with SaaS.
  • Experience with Agile working practices.
  • A software engineering background.
  • The ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, to deliver product success.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, customer journey definition, and writing product specifications.
  • Familiarity with sprint planning, backlog management, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Event planning and networking experience is a plus.
