Role: Test Analyst

Working Location: Swansea

Working arrangement: 2 days per week in the Swansea office + 3 days from home

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our dynamic, cross-functional team. As a key contributor to our software quality, you'll be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our products through meticulous testing across various platforms. Thriving in a fast-paced agile environment, you'll leverage software testing best practices, maintain a comprehensive test script library, and execute thorough test plans on multiple browsers and devices. While test automation experience isn't required, a strong desire to learn and grow in this area is a significant plus.

Responsibilities of the Tester role

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct rigorous testing across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance initiatives, adhering to ISO27001 guidelines and industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve testing practices.

Experience needed for the Tester role

  • Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst or similar role, showcasing a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and executing manual tests on a software platform.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills, particularly in the area of test automation.

This role will require the Test Analyst to be onsite in Swansea 2 days per week.
